This privacy policy applies exclusively to the visit and use of this website. The processing of data in the context of our products and services for care institutions and software partners is governed by separate data processing agreements (DPAs) and is not part of this policy.

We process personal data that you actively provide to us, as well as data that is generated technically when you visit the website.

Data from the contact form: When you contact us via our contact form or by email, we collect the data you provide:

  • Institution / organization
  • Email address
  • Care documentation system used
  • The content of your message

We use this data exclusively to respond to your enquiry.

Server log data: When the website is accessed, technical data is automatically stored in server log files by our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser and operating system used). This data serves to ensure the smooth operation and security of the website.

4.Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Handling and responding to your enquiries
  • Establishing and maintaining contact with prospective and existing customers
  • Technical operation, security and stability of the website

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and in the secure operation of the website as well as, where the GDPR applies, your consent or the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(a), (b) and (f) GDPR).

5.Cookies and Tracking

This website uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics or statistics services (e.g. no Google Analytics). Only technically necessary data required for the operation and security of the website is processed. No usage profiles are created.

6.Hosting and Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data is not sold and is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. However, we do use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf:

Hosting and contact form: This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). The contact form is also processed via the same service and your enquiry is stored there. In this context, data may be transferred to the USA.

Netlify, Inc. is certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss–U.S. DPF); to that extent, the USA is deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection. In addition, contractual safeguards are in place (standard contractual clauses). All service providers used are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the applicable data protection regulations.

7.Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Enquiries submitted via the contact form are deleted once processing has been completed and no retention obligations preclude deletion.

8.Your Rights

Within the framework of the applicable legislation, you have the right to:

  • Access to the data processed about you
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability (where applicable)

To exercise these rights, a message to hello@adamcares.com is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. This website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS.

10.Changes

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in order to adapt it to changed legal conditions or to changes in our services. The version published on this website applies in each case.
